 Citizen Skyhawk AT
« Result #2 Yesterday at 8:41pm »

I love mechanical watches as much as the next guy, but the geek in me is still somehow drawn to anything atomic/solar. 8-) While in the process of dumping off a pile of G-Shocks and other various watches, I managed to buy a Citizen Skyhawk AT. So far I have been totally impressed. It's one of the most comfortable and easy to wear watches I've owned. It syncs to the atomic clock much stronger than any of my G-Shocks, Pathfinders, or Oceanus. It's packed full of features are they are very intuitive to use. My father (now passed away) being a private pilot, I spent a good chunk of the first 20 years of my life in the right seat....so the E6B slide rule allows for a little bit of reminiscing.

Unfortunately I've seen some much better fakes being posted on the net... The kind that makes you decide never to buy one over the net (Not that I was planning to anyway ;), but scary stuff nonetheless)...

I'm not sure I like the overall look of them though. The cases look very ordinary to me. I really like the more distinctive cases such as the original Monster...

Same here... I'll add that I'm not a huge fan of the "5" shield they use on the dial... It appears the price isn't that different of the regular Monster, which IMO is the better watch here... I've seen modded Monsters with white dials BTW. I'm sure "Noah" has one in his line-up... :)

all of my Omegas are vintage. my oldest is pre-ww2. they're more stylish, & just as accurate as the modern bling stuff. to me, there's something about an in house movement, e,g,, the 30T2, vs a generic ETA found in most of the current Omegas.

hi guys. new member here.
im really in need of advice. my other half , god bless her has just bought me a new watch but its a tad tight. can anyone throw me in the right direction for a new extra link to make it bigger. the dealer says it will take 10/14 days. were off on hols on saturday and would like to take it.
anyone help.
thanks, b

Way to late now, but congrats and welcome.

If links were needed in a hurry I would ring around all the authorised dealers in the area.

Here in Australia it sucks as we don't have many dealers and they are spaced well apart.

I thought it was a 24, but couldn't tell for sure in the pic. Fairly similar to my 106D. Gotta love the subs. :-/
